Salary: 38,140 - 40,370 € per year
About the RolePurpose of the Role: The Health Care Assistant is expected to engage in daily activities and routines of the service they are working in, including direct support to the people supported, administrative work, and household tasks. The role requires working as part of a dedicated team within Residential Services, providing services in line with HIQA regulations & standards.
Our services operate 24/7, including shifts, sleep-ins, and night duties. Flexibility in hours may be required.
Essential Requirements- Relevant QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience supporting adults or children with disabilities
- Knowledge of adults/children with complex needs
- Full manual driver's license and eligibility to drive in Ireland
- Eligible to live and work in Ireland
- Assist with activities and care as assigned, ensuring high standards of care
- Recognize and respect the individual needs of children/adults and their families
- Act as an advocate, providing information and support
- Develop social interactions in individual and group settings
- Handle equipment safely and appropriately
- Participate in communication processes, meetings, and training
- Provide personal care when required
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Work flexibly across shifts to meet service needs
