Job Description

MedGen Healthcare Ireland is currently hiring Healthcare Assistants for multiple positions in County Galway and surrounding counties. We're seeking caring, reliable, and committed professionals to support residents in a range of healthcare settings.

Responsibilities
  • Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene and appearance while maintaining dignity
  • Help organise and participate in social and recreational activities
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols
  • Carry out additional duties as directed by the Nurse in Charge or management
Requirements
  • QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification (or equivalent) – completed or in progress
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland - Non sponsorship role
  • Fluent English – written and spoken
