Overview

Join a well-established Tier 2 main contractor, delivering a varied portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, educational, and healthcare sectors. As a Project Manager, you'll take the lead on project delivery from inception to completion, handling everything from planning and execution to stakeholder management and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full project ownership from pre-construction through handover—ensuring programmes, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met.
  • Planning & Coordination: Develop realistic timetables, manage resources, and align with design, commercial, and site teams.
  • Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead on-site teams and work with subcontractors, clients, and consultants to ensure successful delivery.
  • Quality & Safety Oversight: Implement QA/QC plans, conduct site inspections, enforce health and safety protocols, and comply with regulations.
  • Commercial Control: Manage cost, variations, invoicing, subcontractor claims, and risk assessments.
  • Reporting & Communication: Maintain strong stakeholder communication, including reporting progress, resolving issues, and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Site Logistics: Manage site set-up, welfare, access, and liaise with utilities and authorities when needed.
  • Post-Completion Deliverables: Manage snagging, client handover, and closeout documentation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 8+ years' experience in construction project management, especially under main contractor settings.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent (or trade background with proven experience).
  • Proficiency with programme tools (e.g., MS Project, Asta) and clear track record of hitting schedule and budget targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Full driver's license and a valid Safe Pass/Golf Foreman ticket or equivalent.
