The Opportunity –

Novaskill is currently partnered with a renowned and reputable business to offer a Civil Construction Apprenticeship, including on-the-job training with ongoing mentoring and support to help you start.

You'll be completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction whilst gaining experience & developing relationships in the Civil Construction Industry.

Learnings –

  • Plan and organise civil construction tasks
  • Learn to read and interpret plans
  • Use hand and power tools
  • Operate small plant and equipment
  • Follow Work Health & Safety (WHS) procedures
  • Perform measurements and calculations

Outcomes –

  • Experience liaising with real clients and stakeholders
  • Skills in working to project deadlines
  • Experience working on a real work site with colleagues and supervisors

Apprenticeship Suitability Recommendations –
To succeed in this apprenticeship, we recommend you have:

  • Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to use hand tools
  • Comfortability working at heights and in confined spaces
  • An intermediate level of fitness to manage physical tasks such as shovelling, moving surveying equipment, and walking long distances
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety
