Bookkeeping and Administration Officer

Our client, a major multinational in the engineering components sector, seeks a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeping and Administration Officer to support financial and operational functions.

The Role:

Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, the candidate will maintain accurate financial records, manage administrative tasks, and ensure smooth office operations.

Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and filing financial documents
  • Processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconciling company accounts
Administration:
  • Providing general administrative support, including scheduling, answering phones, and correspondence
  • Maintaining organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Managing office supplies and equipment
  • Supporting report, presentation, and documentation preparation
  • Coordinating with external vendors
Skills & Experience Needed:
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Experience in bookkeeping and office administration
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The Offer:

This is a 12-month fixed-term hybrid contract based in Ennis, Co. Clare, with a salary in the €30K - €35K range, depending on experience (pro-rata).

Working hours are 8:45 am – 5 pm, three days per week: one in Ennis and two remote.
