Food and Beverage Assistant (Monday to Friday, Early Breakfast Shifts)

The 4-star Ardilaun Hotel is currently seeking a Breakfast Server for morning shifts, Monday to Friday. This position is 30+ hours a week. The team welcome applications from friendly and outgoing servers with excellent customer service skills.

Location: Galway, County Galway, Ireland

Responsibilities
  • Warmly welcoming guests as they arrive for breakfast and seating them promptly.
  • Keeping the breakfast area clean and tidy at all times.
  • Helping guests with any special dietary needs or requests.
  • Setting tables, placing cutlery, napkins, and ensuring the breakfast buffet is prepared for guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring that tables are set properly and that all guests are seated comfortably.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, needs and complaints, resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of breakfast items, promotions and events, and be able to effectively communicate this information to guests.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Assistant or similar role
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Fluency in written and oral English
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and organisational skills
