Quality Technician - Galway, Ireland - 6 Months Contract

Are you a Quality Technician looking for your next pharmaceutical role? Our client is a global medical technology leader dedicated to transforming lives through innovative medical solutions. Through continuous research and development, our client has introduced groundbreaking products across various medical specialities, including cardiology, neurology, and urology.

Essential duties and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure compliance to all applicable regulatory standards, current GMP practices and BSC procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Control of non-conforming product.
  • Performing product defect analysis.
  • Provide assistance and support to the Quality Engineering and Operations function.
  • Review and update of QA Documentation.
  • May perform routine final functional testing, product release criteria testing/inspection and recording of test results.
  • Completion of Active Release activities (if applicable).
  • Validation report writing.
  • Problem solving and continuous improvement investigations.
  • Assist in internal and plant wide audits as required.
  • Provision of excellent service to all internal customers for the functional area.
  • Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work on one's own initiative and with minimum supervision is required.
  • Good interpersonal skills and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their manager.
