Senior Embedded Security Software Engineer

We are working with a world-leading technology company based in Cork that is looking to expand its core software engineering group by hiring an experienced Embedded Security Software Engineer.

As a Software Security Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and securing embedded and cloud-edge software for our cutting-edge, world-class products.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply your security expertise to achieve critical business objectives.
  • Develop and implement new hardware and software security features, enhancing the security of existing products and ensuring its maintenance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct security assessments and evaluations, including vulnerability and risk assessments, threat analysis, and security code reviews, to proactively identify potential weaknesses.
  • Design robust security architectures for products and sub-systems, collaborating with teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Identify and implement solutions to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and provide support to customers regarding product security.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and tools that promote secure product development practices.

Required Skills:

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Security Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
