Biopharma Production Specialist

Biopharma Production Specialist (m/f/x) Denmark & Iceland at Avantor. This is a remote-based role within the Nordics (preferably Denmark). Territory: Nordics (mainly Denmark and Iceland). Department: Commercial / Sales. Reports to: Regional Sales Manager – Northern Europe.

• Generate growth opportunities mainly in Denmark and Iceland with existing and new customers.
• Create sustainable and profitable partnerships with customers in the biopharmaceutical industry. The BPS is responsible for sales to the assigned territory, with a focus on positioning the Business Unit as the primary supplier to biopharmaceutical customers engaged in mammalian and microbial-based manufacture, Vaccines, Cell & Gene Therapy, and Peptides.
• Understand the market, customer needs and challenges; use Avantor's portfolio of Biopharma products and services to deliver meaningful solutions.
• Be a go-getter who values ROI gained by developing key stakeholder relationships—driving profitability of Avantor's BioPharma business.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Nordic region.

• BSc/BA degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical/Genetic Engineering degree or other life sciences related degree
• At least 3 years sales experience within the biopharmaceutical manufacturing or related life sciences industry
• Strong understanding of bioprocessing and drug formulation workflows.
• Familiarity with GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality standards for excipients and single-use systems.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets
• Good knowledge of office applications (mainly PowerPoint, Excel , and Word)
• Ability to recognize need for change and employ appropriate strategies to facilitate change
• Ability to be flexible in fast-changing environment and to work well under pressure
• Self-motivated team player and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Full Driver's License
• Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish) is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Nordic region.
