Craftsman Furniture Repairs is Ireland's trusted specialist in domestic and commercial furniture repairs, supporting leading Irish furniture retailers and domestic customers alike.

We work with household customers, national retailers, and commercial clients to repair and restore furniture to the highest standard. From recliners and sofas to dining chairs, beds, and bespoke pieces, we pride ourselves on expert craftsmanship, reliability, and customer care.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated Furniture Repair Technician to join our team as we grow to provide national coverage. This is a hands-on, mobile role where you'll travel to customer homes and commercial premises to carry out inspections and repairs. Typical work includes:


• Upholstery repairs (fabric, leather, vinyl)


• Recliner mechanism and motor actuator repairs


• Frame and spring repairs


• Seat cushion interior adjustments and replacements


• Cosmetic touch-ups (scratches, scuffs, stains)

Full training will be provided to bring you up to Craftsman standards.

What We're Looking For:


• A practical, hands-on person who enjoys problem solving


• A positive attitude and willingness to learn


• Previous experience in furniture, upholstery, carpentry, or related trades (desirable but not essential)


• Good communication skills – ability to reassure customers and explain work clearly


• Full clean driver's licence (essential)
