Our client is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and organised Accounts Assistant to join the finance team of Ireland's largest and most exciting entertainment group. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll be a key part of our day-to-day finance operations – helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes while supporting the wider business.

This role is perfect for someone early in their accounts career who wants to grow in a fast-paced, friendly environment – and it offers the chance to be part of something genuinely fun and fast-moving.

Please note: Irish experience is essential for this role.

Role:

  • Handling daily and monthly bank reconciliations – accuracy is key
  • Processing purchase invoices and expenses – on time, every time.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and general ledger entries
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close
  • Helping with budgeting, reporting, and forecasting
  • Keeping financial records tidy and up to date
  • Pitching in with audit prep and compliance tasks

Requirements:

  • A business or finance qualification under your belt
  • At least 2 years' experience in a finance role – in Ireland, ideally
  • Confidence with Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software like QuickBooks or SAP
  • Someone who's well-organised, reliable, and can handle a busy workload
  • A strong communicator who's just as comfortable working solo as they are in a team
