What you will be doing:

  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
  • Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
  • Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions. Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.
  • Develop & conduct quality inspections during the construction phase of projects. Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Providing Engineering services to the plant to maximize the availability of all Site Process Equipment and Utilities.
  • Understanding the impact of the various materials/components on the lines and the limitations on equipment performance. Work to implement solutions.
  • Reviewing component drawings and understanding equipment performance to ensure that both are aligned for maximum outputs with minimal waste.
  • Experience with warehouse equipment.
  • Warehouse management systems.
  • Print & apply labelling systems.
  • Managing capital projects.
  • Process improvement.
  • Experience with PLCs & Scada.
  • Preventative maintenance systems.
  • All other duties as requested or assigned.

What you need to apply:

  • Third level qualification in Engineering or equivalent in the areas of Process, Chemical, Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Manufacturing and Engineering, including planning, design, installation and commissioning in a GMP Environment.
  • Experience in Requirements Analysis, Design Skills, Project Management, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Risk Management.
  • Must have excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, AutoCad, Solid Works and excellent Communication skills.
  • Previous experience and understanding of high speed packaging line.
