Job Summary:

BrookLodge & Macreddin Village is currently seeking a Senior Bar Service Crew Member with a passion for hospitality and a solid background in bar service and cocktail preparation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with guests, and takes pride in delivering exceptional beverage service. As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to maintaining high standards while supporting and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver professional, friendly, and attentive service to all guests.
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and contemporary cocktails.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge, including spirits, wines, beers, and signature cocktails.
  • Process orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and support with ordering and inventory control.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service in line with licensing laws and company policies.
  • Recommend and upsell drinks, promotions, and specials to enhance the guest experience.
  • Lead by example in maintaining high service standards and assisting in training junior staff.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a bar service or hospitality role.
  • Strong working knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a high-volume environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and team-focused mindset.
  • Must meet the legal age requirement for alcohol service.
