Barden has partnered with a leading PLC to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager to take on a key leadership role within their top-tier group finance team.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented accountant to progress their career in a dynamic, forward-looking organisation. In this role, you will support the financial reporting function and play a key role in the external reporting cycle. You'll lead and mentor a team of high-performing qualified accountants, while also working closely with senior stakeholders across the group.

This is a diverse position with a core focus on the preparation and review of the Group's consolidated financial statements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving improvements in external reporting processes.
  • Preparing Board and Audit Committee reports, including financial results, audit documentation, and regulatory updates.
  • Collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Supporting newly acquired entities in meeting reporting obligations.
  • Helping to design and implement financial reporting systems across the Group.
  • Contributing to various ad-hoc projects and continuous process enhancements.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (Big 4/Top 10 trained) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in practice and/or industry.
  • Experience within international or PLC environments is highly beneficial.
  • Strong technical expertise in IFRS; familiarity with US SEC reporting is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to take ownership and deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Adept at providing practical, strategic solutions in complex scenarios.
