Mobile Maintenance Technician - General Operative

Position: Mobile Maintenance Technician - General Operative with Interact

Location: Leinster (Travel is required)

Salary: €22 per hour

Experience: 3+ Years in a similar role

About The Role

To provide a multi-disciplined general maintenance service as part of the current maintenance team primarily focusing on planned, preventative and reactive maintenance and repair of commercial buildings and grounds across our client base.

Key Responsibilities of a Mobile Maintenance Technician - General Operative
  • To complete multi-disciplined types of maintenance such as basic checks on plant, plumbing, plastering, carpentry & painting;
  • To work effectively as part of the Building Fabric Mobile Team and overall Operations Team;
  • To be proactive in the role and highlight any requirements needed to complete all assigned tasks;
  • To undertake other such duties as might be reasonably assigned from time to time in consultation with the Operations Manager;
  • Willing and able to drive company vehicle, a full driving licence is required for the purposes of carrying out scheduled repairs, emergency reactive works when required;
  • To be vigilant to any Health, Safety & Welfare risks in the workplace and bring any concerns to the attention of your Operations Manager and Health & Safety Manager;
  • To participate in relevant training and development courses as agreed with your Manager.
  • On Call in hours and out of hours requirement.
  • Ability to work on own initiative both alone and as a member of a team;
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Flexible and innovative approach;
  • Commitment to providing the highest quality service; On-site safety awareness.
Essential Criteria
  • Extensive, provable, multi trade building/maintenance experience;
  • Ability to work on own initiative both alone and as a member of a team;
  • Full, clean driving licence;
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Flexible and innovative approach;
  • Commitment to providing the highest quality service; On-site safety awareness.
