Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Medforce is delighted to partner with a dedicated Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Offaly to recruit a part-time Senior Speech and Language Therapist. This role is primarily school based, working in a Special School setting with children who have complex needs and developmental disabilities.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children in a dynamic and supportive educational environment, while collaborating closely with families, educators, and a wider interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessment and intervention to children in a Special School.
- Deliver individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
- Work closely with teachers, SNAs, and families to support communication and feeding needs in the classroom and home.
- Support care planning, progress tracking, and participation in MDT meetings.
- Mentor and support junior SLTs and contribute to service development within the CDNT.
- CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist (essential).
- Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, ideally in paediatrics or disability services.
- Strong background in managing complex communication needs, AAC, and dysphagia (if applicable).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in school or community-based settings is an advantage.
