About the role:

Your role as a Customer Solutions Architect is to help current customers gain the most value from their dbt Cloud deployment, in partnership with the Sales Director and Solutions Architect on the account. You will monitor an existing book of business, lead technical discussions with customers, uncover new data challenges, and demonstrate how dbt Cloud can address their needs through live demos and technical workshops. The end goal is to drive customer satisfaction, resulting in renewal and expansion among existing customers.

Internally, you will help the team by acting as the voice of the customer to ensure we build products that solve real problems and delight our customers. You will be an integral part of the early Customer Solutions Architect team as we build out processes and playbooks. This role is based in Dublin and requires in-office presence 3 days per week. Preferences for candidates who speak French, Spanish, Italian, or German.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Enterprise customers and monitor health, product adoption, and utilization to identify expansion opportunities and churn risks
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders to understand analytics needs and determine how dbt Cloud can help
• Educate customers on new products and features to increase value and usage of dbt Cloud
• Collaborate with Sales Directors and Solutions Architects on accounts, providing strategic input on customer lifecycle and renewals
• Represent the voice of the customer in product discussions and participate in cross-functional activities
• Contribute to the knowledge loop by improving processes and assets and helping others on the team
• Create and deliver external content through live events, blog posts, tutorials, or other formats

You are a good fit if you have

• 2+ years of experience in a post-sales role (e.g., technical account manager, CSE, or data practitioner)
• Solid technical background with understanding of modern data warehousing architectures, the analytics stack, and SQL proficiency
• Comfort presenting to various stakeholders or audiences, ideally in externally facing roles
• Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment and think on your feet during customer conversations
• Desire to work as part of a team, collaborating with Post-Sales Solutions Architects and Sales Directors
• Openness to travel for in-person events and meetings
• Speak French, Spanish, Italian, or German

• dbt certification or prior dbt experience
• Basic Python competency and advanced SQL knowledge
• Experience with ancillary tools, data infrastructure, APIs, etc.

Compensation

We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience, including salary, equity, and, where applicable, performance-based pay. Our Talent Acquisition Team can answer questions about total rewards during the interview process.

• €85,000 - €103,000 EUR
