Overview

Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer looking to be part of key projects with a dynamic and progressive engineering company? Rockwell is seeking a lead mechanical project engineer to join an exciting mechanical engineering project initially based in the Dublin region, on a permanent & full-time basis.

Responsibilities
  • Generate project schedules in conjunction with the project team.
  • Monitor project work progress.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Project engineering submissions and value engineering.
  • Project procurement and materials management.
  • Project build review and interaction with co-contractors.
  • Designing and modelling in 3D using Autodesk 3D software.
  • Evaluating final product's overall performance, reliability and safety.
  • Interact with clients, CMT, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Carry out quality control through inspections and snagging, including walking down P&IDS and layout drawings.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
  • Relevant third level qualification in Mechanical / Building Services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of both HVAC and Piping Systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience post qualification.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.
  • Positive attitude with a passion to learn and succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability.
