Web Applications Developer (PowerApps)

Location: Midlands / West of Ireland

Contract: Long-term Day Rate

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Web Applications Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft PowerApps to join our team on a long-term contract. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining business-critical applications using Power Platform, with a focus on process automation, integration, and performance optimisation. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions that drive efficiency and value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft PowerApps solutions (Canvas and Model-driven applications).
  • Build automated workflows using Power Automate (Flow) and Power Automate Desktop for RPA solutions.
  • Integrate applications with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Dynamics 365, and other enterprise systems.
  • Leverage Azure services such as Logic Apps, Functions, and API Management for advanced integrations.
  • Manage PowerApps environments, ensuring compliance, security, and performance optimisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and delivery.
  • Implement custom UI enhancements using JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
  • Contribute to solution design, documentation, and best practice implementation within the Power Platform.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven).
  • Proficiency in Power Automate (Flow) and Power Automate Desktop.
  • Strong knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Dynamics 365 integrations.
  • Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Functions, or API Management.
  • Understanding of security models, roles, and permissions within Power Platform.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Additional experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) desirable.
  • Strong coding skills in JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and CSS for UI customisation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
