The Sushi Factory Operator is responsible for efficiently preparing, assembling, and packaging sushi products in a high-volume environment. This role requires strict adherence to food safety standards, precise recipe execution, and teamwork to meet production goals. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced settings, pay attention to detail, and maintain quality and hygiene standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manually cutting fish and vegetables, washing and preparing ingredients, and lifting ingredients to shelves.
  • Manual preparation of maki rolls and nigiri toppings, as well as packing.
  • Cleaning equipment and work areas.
  • Working in cold environments.
  • Working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Summary of Duties
  • Following instructions to complete tasks.
  • Ensuring work complies with specifications.
  • Operating equipment safely and according to guidelines, including health and safety and food handling protocols.
  • Using PPE as instructed.
  • Monitoring work practices and checking for issues.
  • Fixing minor problems and reporting unresolved issues to the Line Leader.
  • Maintaining continuous factory production.
  • Inspecting, maintaining, and cleaning equipment as instructed.
  • Completing tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Reporting problems that could impact the organization or customers.
  • Contributing to team efficiency.
  • Managing resources and controlling expenses.
  • Adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
