Recognized globally for its exceptional standards, this club offers a year-round opportunity to be part of a prestigious culinary team.Role Overview:The Executive Sous Chef will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Chef in upholding high standards of food production, innovative menu development, and efficient kitchen operations. This full-time position spans both leadership and hands-on responsibilities, focusing on maintaining quality, improving cost-effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen brigade while acting as a role model in food production and presentation.
  • Contribute insights and creativity to the menu planning process.
  • Maintain rigorous operational hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to achieve desired profitability and meet budgetary expectations.
  • Foster excellent relationships with the restaurant management team and other department heads to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in 4-star or higher hotel kitchens or upscale restaurants.
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality or culinary arts is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong track record of enhancing guest satisfaction and managing a high-performing team.
Skills Required:
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Professional demeanor and a commitment to quality.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of performing various physical tasks necessary in a kitchen environment.
