This unique HR Advisory role is ideal for HR professionals seeking to gain experience advising on a wide range of HR processes and Employment Law for over 30,000 clients across various sectors. The HR Advisor will provide reliable, commercially-focused HR and Employment Law advice over the phone to clients on all HR matters, from general to complex queries. The role includes participation in an excellent training program and the potential to earn a part post-graduate qualification.

The shift pattern is 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 on shifts varying between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm. The core shift is 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, with occasional shifts at 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, or 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm. You will work a couple of weekends per year (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) and at least one public holiday annually. Once trained, participation in an on-call roster is required.

The HR Advisor's responsibilities include:

  1. Providing quality, efficient HR and Employment Law advice via email or phone, based on client preference.
  2. Handling calls from clients regarding HR issues such as absence management, grievances, and disciplinaries.
  3. Providing clients with supporting information and documentation to implement advice or solutions.
  4. Applying HR and employment law expertise to develop clear, actionable responses.
  5. Reviewing client documentation and offering advice considering their internal terms and conditions.
  6. Ensuring all advice requests are handled within the relevant Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Good employment law knowledge, gained through studies or work experience.
  • A CIPD qualification or equivalent workplace experience (desirable).
  • Previous experience in a KPI/target-driven environment, ideally in a shared service center (highly desirable).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
