Department Overview

Due to continued growth, our Audit & Assurance team is expanding its specialist practice in aviation leasing, securitisation, and asset management. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to dynamic and fast-evolving sectors, working with a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients, including investment funds, special purpose vehicles (SPVs), and aviation finance structures.

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals who are self-motivated, take initiative, and have the ability to plan, manage, and deliver high-quality audit engagements. You'll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, with opportunities to develop deep sector expertise and work on complex, cross-border audit assignments.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting stages.
• Perform in-depth audit procedures, including risk assessments, control testing, and substantive audit work.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
• Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses, particularly in aviation, structured finance, and asset management sectors.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all audit work is completed in compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and firm methodologies.
• Contribute to the enhancement of audit processes and tools to drive efficiency and maintain high audit quality.
• Stay up to date with developments in auditing standards, accounting frameworks (especially IFRS), and relevant sector regulations through continuous professional development.
  
  

Skills And Attributes

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in external audit, ideally within a professional services firm.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge with practical experience applying IFRS; knowledge of UK/Irish GAAP or US GAAP is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in managing audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Exposure to a diverse client portfolio; experience with aviation leasing, SPVs, funds, or financial services clients is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ambitious, proactive, and committed to a long-term career in practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and build rapport with clients.
