Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Process guests check-ins and check-outs efficiently and ensure accurate billing.
- Assist guests with inquiries, provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel directions.
- Handle phone, email, and online bookings, ensuring accurate input into the system.
- Carry out all Reception duties as per the agreed standards.
- Make the necessary preparations to deal with arrival of customers with advance bookings and ensure check-in procedures are completed correctly.
- Ensure all guest queries either in person or by telephone are answered in a prompt and professional manner and escalate to management if necessary.
- Communicate and liaise with the Accommodation Manager/Supervisor in relation to rooms status, VIP's and allocations.
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Deal with Lost Property as per hotel policy.
- Previous experience as a Receptionist in a hotel is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Opera.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
