Role overview

VEHICLE AND TRANSPORT COORDINATOR | €17.08 per hour

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to coordinate village vehicle and transport operations to optimise procurement, commercial, colleague and other stakeholder requirements. Reporting to the Deputy Village Director and working with the Group Fleet and Transport Manager, your duties will include the following responsibilities:

• Oversee and audit village vehicle fleets to ensure they are checked, maintained and taxed to company standards
• Control and optimise vehicle operating costs, including administration of maintenance schedules, fuel, vehicle hire, batteries and other transport costs
• Monitor and control OPEX costs versus budgets, prior year, and in comparison with other villages
• Act as a key point of contact for all village transport requirements, ensuring effective utilisation of the vehicle fleet to achieve operational efficiency
• Encourage sustainable travel and coordinate colleague transport costs; monitor and advise so that colleague transport is optimised and cost-effective

Important note on commuting

To apply, you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Longford Forest as it is not easily accessible by public transport. If you plan to use public transport, please plan your journey accordingly.

Hours of work

You will be contracted to work 120 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Your days and hours may vary week to week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. As the village is open 365 days a year, your working hours will include public/bank holidays and, on a rota basis, Christmas and/or New Year with a premium rate for hours worked on Sundays.

Desirable requirements

• Experience of working with data and the ability to process data from multiple sources
• Experience of working within transportation or logistics
