Overview

Cleaning Shift Supervisor - Nights & Day - Luas at Mitie

Role to supervise cleaning operatives across Luas sites, maintain high cleaning standards, ensure duties and works are completed, and assist with staff to ensure all tasks are fulfilled. Some administrative duties and paperwork are required on each shift. They will assist with Duty Managers to manage rosters, absence, cover, consumables, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out a variety of cleaning assignments
  • Provide high quality cleaning services as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment at all times
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with daily operating procedures
  • Mop floors
  • Vacuum floors
  • Touch point cleaning
  • Clean desks
  • Dust legs of desks and chairs
  • Clean appliances
  • Dust to hand height
  • Empty bins
  • Dispose of rubbish bags
  • Clean toilets & bathrooms
Requirements / Documents
  • Proof of id (Passport or driving license)
  • Proof of address
  • Proof of bank statement
  • Proof of PPSN
  • Work permit (if applied)
  • Police Clearance - from all countries you have lived in outside of Ireland in the past 5 years
  • 2 written references from last two previous employers
Role Details
  • Location: Red Cow / Sandyford / Broombridge Luas Depots
  • Pay rate night shift: €16.50 per hour (night shift)
  • Pay rate day shift: €15.00 per hour
  • Contract: Permanent / Full Time
  • Hours: 40 hour contract, 5 days over 7
  • Shift start times: between 6pm-8pm; 8 hour shift with 30 mins unpaid break
  • Driving Licence Required
