Overview

Join to apply for the HGV Class 2 Driver role at Panda Ireland. This opportunity is based at the Cork depot (T45 R585) within Panda Recycling, Ireland's largest waste management business and a member of the Beauparc Group.

This role involves driving a range of Class 2 vehicles including skip, RoRo, and bin lorries. The position offers a clear rotating shift pattern and full-time hours.

Key Benefits & Compensation
  • Competitive Pay: Hourly rate of €17.50 with a contracted 42.5-hour week.
  • Bonuses: Additional €20 per day, including a €14 attendance bonus and a €6 daily KPI bonus.
  • Subsistence Allowance: Additional €17.92 per day for expenses.
  • Work-Life Balance: Stable, full-time role with early starts between 4am and 6am, on a fixed schedule Monday to Saturday.
  • Future Opportunities: Ongoing training and development, pro-rata holiday entitlements, and a full uniform.
Your Responsibilities
  • Perform daily and weekly vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Manage routes to complete assigned collections and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and written records.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
  • A clean and valid Category C licence.
  • Current Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC qualification.
  • Age 25 or over for insurance purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.
