Specialist areas include Brain Injury, Stroke, Spinal Cord System of Care, Paediatrics, Outpatient Programmes, among others.

Position Details

We are seeking enthusiastic Psychologists (Staff Grade) with an interest in acquired disability and rehabilitation to join our team at the NRH. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons. Successful candidates will be placed on a panel until a suitable vacancy arises.

The candidate must, by the closing date, possess:

  • A recognised university degree or diploma with first- or second-class honours in Psychology as a major subject, with honours obtained in that subject
  • A recognised postgraduate professional psychological qualification appropriate to the area of psychology
  • The knowledge and ability, including clinical competence, for the proper discharge of duties
  • Experience in administering psychometric tests, conducting clinical evaluations, providing recommendations, interventions, and report writing
  • Research experience using various methodologies
  • Experience working in a hospital environment and/or interdisciplinary team setting is advantageous
