EDD Compliance Analyst III

Position: Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Analyst. You will perform due diligence on retail high risk customers, including enhanced due diligence for new onboarding cases, trigger events, and periodic refreshes. You will analyze customer information, follow defined processes, and summarize findings to recommend next steps.

What you'll be doing (job duties)

• Conduct clear and concise requests for information (RFI) to customers to obtain information/documentation required to fulfill EDD
• Understand and interpret customer conversations, including how to request EDD information, address customer concerns, and optimize the customer experience
• Perform internal and external research to build the customer risk profile (e.g., geographic location, employment verification, Source of Funds, Source of Wealth, Negative News/PEP/Sanctions, and other pertinent information)
• Keep key stakeholders informed on bottlenecks within the EDD process
• Identify and recommend process and policy improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Strong planning skills; able to manage multiple priorities and tasks
• Results-focused; pursue opportunities and solutions despite obstacles and optimize tasks
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; apply past lessons to current situations
• Takes initiative and can operate independently

What we look for in you (job requirements)

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial services, crypto, investigations, legal, or tech, with a focus on EDD, KYC, compliance, or regulatory matters
• Ability to understand CDD and EDD requirements for individual customers and collect requirements per internal policies and workflow guides
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and written/spoken communication skills
• Experience with Google Sheets/Docs, Excel, Word
• Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Willingness to support in a 24/7 environment
• High level of attention to detail

Nice to haves

• Professional AML or Fraud certification (e.g., CAMS, CFCS, CFE)
• Experience in project management, analytics, or vendor management
• Advanced degree in business, finance, or CX
• Proficiency with Google apps, JIRA, Hummingbird, and Salesforce Service Cloud
• Experience collaborating with external outsourcing partners

Pay Transparency: The target annual salary range is provided below. Full-time offers include target bonus, target equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision).

Pay Range: €56,700 EUR
