Overview

Department: [e.g. General Nursing / Elderly Care / Medical-Surgical – optional]


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in line with clinical best practices.
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, updating care plans accordingly.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  • Provide support and guidance to healthcare assistants and junior staff.

Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential – newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply.
