Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Privacy Specialist to join our contract team in Dublin. The successful candidate will have a strong background in privacy reviews, compliance frameworks, and governance, with the ability to work independently across business functions. This role offers the opportunity to shape and operationalise privacy practices, support cross-functional initiatives, and provide guidance on data protection in emerging areas such as AI and product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and product privacy reviews across business units.
  • Support cross-functional privacy initiatives in line with GDPR, CCPA, and other global compliance frameworks.
  • Partner with internal teams to define and implement privacy governance requirements, particularly within vendor due diligence programs.
  • Provide guidance on IT and product privacy matters, ensuring best practices are embedded throughout product lifecycles.
  • Contribute expertise on AI-related privacy risks and compliance considerations.
  • Work independently to engage with stakeholders, manage work streams, and deliver privacy requirements with limited oversight.
  • Promote and implement data privacy best practices, ensuring compliance and reducing risk across the organisation.
Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years' experience in privacy roles, with proven exposure to product and IT privacy.
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations.
  • Experience conducting privacy assessments and reviews in a cross-functional environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in AI-related privacy risks and controls.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently across teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical privacy solutions.
Desirable Certifications
  • IAPP Certifications: AIGP, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT.
  • Other relevant privacy/professional certifications an advantage.
