M&E Design Associate Recruitment Consultant at Global Professional Consultants

A growing multidisciplinary engineering team is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support mechanical building services design across diverse sectors including data centres, healthcare, commercial, and high-tech projects. This position involves working under experienced engineers, gradually increasing independence, and contributing to project delivery from concept to completion.

Key Projects

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in mechanical building services design
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical systems
  • Understanding of coordination with structural, architectural, and electrical models

Duties

  • Assist with mechanical design tasks under supervision
  • Conduct and attend site visits with senior engineers
  • Contribute to the development of design files and project documentation
  • Maintain quality assurance and manage routine technical tasks
  • Participate in internal training, CPD sessions, and design team meetings
  • Support progress toward professional accreditation
  • Develop expertise in industry-standard software tools
  • Flexible working hours with hybrid arrangement
