CARE ASSISTANT

Work Locations: Limerick City / Doon / Foynes

Contracts available: Permanent and Relief

Shifts: Day and Night shifts

Panels will be formed from this campaign to fill current and future vacancies, both permanent and specified purpose, for full or part-time roles.

Salary: Care Assistant 13-point scale €33,699 - €46,984 (pro-rata)

The Role of a Care Assistant

Care Assistants play a vital caring role for a group of People Supported by our services. The role involves two main elements:

  1. Providing all aspects of personal care during the day, including meals, personal hygiene, and related physical well-being tasks.
  2. Supporting People Supported by the Services in their development according to Individual Plans and achieving associated outcomes. A key focus is community participation and integration.
Applicant Requirements
  • Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in a relevant field
  • Full manual driving license valid for driving manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads
