A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

  1. Develop a strong understanding of the existing system and application landscape.
  2. Analyse new business processes and requirements, share findings with the development and test teams.
  3. Support a quality first environment: Prepare accurate and detailed process and requirements documentation.
  4. Prepare high level estimates as part of the Demand Evaluation process.
  5. Complete tasks, reporting status and work assignments in a timely fashion.
  6. Ensure alignment of expectations between business demands and developed solutions.
  7. Collaborate with IT colleagues from Architecture, Infrastructure, Onshore and Offshore Development, Test and Desktop Support.
  8. Liaise with peer system owners to ensure impacts are properly understood, documented, and mitigated against from an up and downstream perspective.
  9. Support business users through User Acceptance Testing, issue resolution and assist with training concerns.
  10. Manage change requests relating to working project plants to meet deadlines.
  11. Investigate data discrepancies and perform ad-hoc database queries as required.
  12. Ensure compliance with all organisational, legal and regulatory requirements and standards including SOX compliance and security.

Requirements:

  1. 4+ years' experience as a Business Analyst.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Sciences.
  3. Knowledge of the full SDLC.
  4. Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  5. Experience in Business Process and Data Modelling.
  6. Relational DB, SQL, SOQL, or other DB query language is a distinct advantage.
  7. Experience in Application Support and Training.
  8. Self-starter and should showcase intellectual curiosity.
  9. Effective verbal and written communication skills (English).
  10. Experience of working with multiple applications/projects in parallel with internal and external stakeholders/third part vendors/development centers across multiple locations.
  11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  12. Knowledge of IT-compliance (SOX) and operational excellence models.
  13. Project Management experience is also an advantage.
