We are seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join our team on a large-scale road scheme in Roscommon. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in road and pavement projects to play a key role in delivering a major infrastructuredevelopment.
As our successful candidate you will be competent in the following areas:
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Site Agent in managing daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and site activities in line with the project programme.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site.
- Monitor project progress, including earthworks, drainage, pavements, and surfacing activities.
- Manage resources effectively, including plant, materials, and personnel.
- Liaise with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to maintain effective communication and project coordination.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, progress updates, and documentation as required.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in road construction, pavement, or similar infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, pavement construction, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) is desirable.
- Full driving license required.
