Bid Manager - Limerick, Dublin or Belfast

Sysco Ireland is hiring for a Bid Manager - Limerick, Dublin or Belfast role. The position is part of the Corporate Sales team and focuses on delivering exceptional, tailored RFP responses to prospective customers.

As our Corporate Sales team expands, we aim to consistently deliver compelling, value-based proposal responses and to leverage internal resources to win business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partner closely with Corporate Sales Managers to lead the RFP/RFQ process and define our Win Strategy; deliver highly tailored proposal responses
  • Review Sysco's repository of approved proposal responses to ensure accuracy and clear messaging of credentials and track record
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts from Merchandising, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Operations and Marketing to develop compelling value-based messaging
  • Track and analyse key proposal metrics to measure effectiveness and support data-driven decisions
  • Provide monthly updates on the proposal development pipeline to the Head of Corporate Sales and Commercial Director
  • Coach team members on developing engaging, tailored proposal responses based on customer needs

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Proposal/Bid Manager role
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple teams on simultaneous proposal efforts
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with attention to detail and tailored messaging for diverse audiences
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, able to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship-building with stakeholders across teams to maintain alignment throughout the proposal process
  • High integrity and respect in all work
  • Familiarity with tools like PowerPoint and SmartSheet, with an eye for formatting and clarity in proposal content

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Experience supporting sales strategies to improve effectiveness
  • Knowledge of the Foodservice industry
  • Experience in a fast-growth company
  • Experience with Salesforce and proposal management software
