Location: Dublin City Centre

Compensation: €60-65k basic plus pension, 25 days AL increasing with service to 30 days AL, etc.

Our client, a global supplier to the construction industry, is recruiting for a recently qualified accountant to join their Dublin City Centre head office. This permanent role has been created as a result of growth and the roll-out of large-scale European projects. The successful candidate will benefit from working closely with senior finance leadership, gaining a 360 view of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Group financial consolidations
  • Month-end journal postings
  • Cashflow management
  • Budget preparation
  • Quarterly forecasting
  • Developing and improving internal controls
  • Data analysis
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions
  • Preparation and maintenance of the fixed asset register
Requirements
  • Recently qualified accountant of a professional body e.g., ACA / ACCA / CIMA

Ambitious self-starter with a positive attitude, committed to pursuing a career in accountancy and a desire to progress within the organization.

IT literate and process improvement oriented.

Detail-oriented with strong financial and analytical skills.
