An exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to join a residential and day support team, working closely with adults to help them achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling, independent lives.

You will support individuals in line with their person-centred plans, working alongside colleagues, families, and other key people. The role involves promoting independence, community participation, and personal development while ensuring care and support needs are met.

Details

  • Salary: €30,272 per annum (40 hours, pro rata)

  • Location: Stillorgan, Dublin South

  • Other available locations include: Monaghan, Kerry, Tipperary, Kilkenny, Wexford and Kildare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and uphold each person's rights, dignity, and autonomy.

  • Support individuals with daily living skills, personal care, health, and well-being.

  • Encourage participation in hobbies, leisure activities, and community life.

  • Assist with behaviour support plans, communication needs, and independent living skills.

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.

  • Drive service transport and support outings as required.

  • Ensure safe use of equipment and adherence to policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award (or equivalent) in Social/Community Care.

  • At least 1 year's experience supporting vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.

  • Knowledge of relevant policies and best practice in social care.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related IT tools.

  • Full driving licence and own car is essential as there may be some travel involved between sites.
