Dennis Henderson Motor Services is a family run business and one of Cork City's largest independent garages having been in operation since 1986. We specialise in all mechanical repairs to cars, vans and 4x4's including servicing, engines repairs, transmissions and towbars. We are now seeking a Qualified Mechanic to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a fully qualified mechanic to join our dedicated and hard working team in Cork City. You will work in a dynamic environment delivering the best quality service for our customers.

Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Skills: Understand the latest vehicletechnology to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.
Servicing: Execute servicing and repairs to engines, brakes and suspensions systems with precision and consistency to meet the expectations of our customers.
Engines: Ability to repair all aspects of a modern petrol and diesel engine including head gaskets, timing belts/chains, turbo's and diesel particulate filter systems.
Transmissions: Remove and install gearboxes and replace clutches and flywheels.
Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is a key requirement of our team members.
Efficiency and Productivity: We operate in a dynamic and flexible workspace where a hard work ethic and a positive attitude are essential.
Collaborative Approach: Working as part of a small team it is essential to offer guidance and willingness to support your colleagues.
Workshop Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Effective Communication: Ensure correct maintenance of work logs and communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications: Qualified motor technician with a minimum of 2 years professional experience.
Desire to Learn: Willing to learn and develop new skills.
Team Player: Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
Problem Solver: Problem solving skills and a pro-active approach to finding solutions to technical challenges.
Professionalism: Maintain high standards of work and present a professional image when interacting with customers.
Language Skills: Fluent English
Driver's Licence: Full, clean driver's license
