Digital Project Leaders are entrusted with overseeing client accounts and guiding teams towards exceptional outcomes. They foster a culture of innovation and actively contribute to our organizational ethos. They possess a comprehensive grasp of digital project management, encompassing web development initiatives, digital display strategies, SEO expertise, accessibility standards, performance measurement, and digital thinking methodologies, such as persona development, journey mapping, and task analysis. Associate Directors play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing our top talent, both as client team leaders and mentors/coaches.

As a Digital Project Leader at the Associate Director level, your responsibilities will encompass:

• Stewarding client accounts and upholding the highest standards of performance.
• Demonstrating a deep understanding of digital technologies, confidently presenting to colleagues outside the client team as an expert in web projects, SEO, and measurement, and proactively involving relevant personnel to enhance client impact when necessary.
• Possessing a comprehensive grasp of digital legislative requirements for each industry, including e-privacy and accessibility.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, forging strong and enduring relationships at all levels within their organization.
• Exhibiting exceptional listening and influencing skills, effectively challenging briefs based on evidence and experience.
• Profitably managing projects, crafting clear scope of work documents, and maintaining a firm grasp of agreed expectations.
• Formulating appropriate budgets with a keen understanding of the value delivered, providing timely and accurate client budget information internally and to clients.
• Leading with a collaborative and collegial approach, proactively building a deep understanding of other areas of expertise and leveraging these insights to benefit clients.
• Proactively driving growth and new revenue streams from existing clients and generating new business leads, including networking to identify promising opportunities and enhancing the consultancy's reputation among potential clients and prospects.
• Masterfully navigating pitch processes, ensuring that proposals are grounded in clear insights and a thorough understanding of the target audience.
• Serving as a strong leader of cross-functional internal and external teams.
• Providing exceptional team management and leadership to foster career development through mentoring and coaching within teams and across the consultancy.

Key Criteria

• Adept technical expertise in developing digital projects from discovery to development, with a particular focus on managing web development initiatives – coordinating teams both internally and externally.
• A deep technical understanding of digital project management, encompassing web dev projects, digital display strategies, SEO expertise, accessibility standards, performance measurement, and digital thinking methodologies, including persona development, journey mapping, and task analysis.
• A proven track record of successfully managing web and digital projects from discovery to deployment.
• The ability to effectively manage expectations and deliver ongoing technical support for maintenance.
• Knowledge of digital media buying across social, search, and display platforms.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, at a minimum, for wireframing and prototyping.
• Substantial experience managing team workflow and projects, as well as guiding the career development of junior employees.
