Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Dietitian to join the HSE Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) across Carlow, Kilkenny, and South Tipperary. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the nutritional care of children with disabilities, working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert dietary assessments and interventions for children with a range of medical and nutritional needs.
  • Develop personalized nutrition plans, supporting children's growth, development, and overall health.
  • Work closely with families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team to implement dietary strategies.
  • Provide training and education on nutrition to staff, families, and caregivers.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of nutritional care services within the CDNT.

Requirements:

  • Recognized qualification in Dietetics and CORU registration.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience in dietetics, preferably in paediatrics or a disability setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and a passion for delivering evidence-based care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.

Desirable:

  • Experience in pediatric nutrition and working with children with disabilities.
