Overview

Professionally Qualified Basic Grade Social Work – Kilbarrack CDNT. This is a full-time permanent post with Kilbarrack Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT). The CDNT works as part of a multi-disciplinary team and includes a Social Work Team Leader, Senior Practitioner and Basic Grade posts. Training opportunities and regular clinical supervision are provided. The post is based at Kilbarrack CDNT offices in Grattan House, Northern Cross, with children seen at home and in preschool/school.

Responsibilities
  • Support children and families presenting with complex needs arising from intellectual, physical, and/or sensory disabilities.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary CDNT, contributing to holistic, person-centred, community-based services.
  • Engage in routine supervision and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Attend to children at the Kilbarrack CDNT and in home/school settings as required.
Essential Criteria
  • Degree or Master's in Social Work or equivalent
  • National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW)
  • Fully registered with CORU
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred, community-based services
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills; ability to work in a self-directed manner
  • Full, clean driver's license and access to a car
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience working in children's disability services
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
