A leading statutory body in the Irish public sector is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their dynamic technology function. This organisation plays a central role in the regulation of digital services and is expanding its remit under new EU legislation covering cybersecurity, data infrastructure, and digital accessibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of IT and digital transformation projects across internal, customer-facing, and regulated industry systems.
  • Define technical requirements and functional specs in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing and ensure quality assurance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Manage third-party service providers, track SLAs, and monitor delivery performance.
  • Drive improvements in project methodology, tools, and documentation practices.
  • Contribute to process mapping and business analysis across key internal functions.
  • Support public procurement processes and manage contract lifecycles.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • Recognised project management certification (Agile, PMP, Prince2).
  • 3+ years of experience delivering IT projects, ideally in a complex or regulated environment.
  • Strong skills in systems integration, stakeholder management, and UAT coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in or with public sector/regulatory environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 implementations and custom information systems.
  • Exposure to data-heavy environments and SQL-based systems.
