Workforce/Project Coordinator

The Workforce/Project Coordinator has a responsibility providing resources to support the short- and long-term needs of the organisation. The person we are looking for will have excellent hands-on people skills. He/she will be a 'people person', an excellent communicator with a real interest in, and experience of, supporting people through a major organisational change.

  • Show great influencing skills

Specific Duties:

  • Recruitment and retention of staff and contractors. Work closely with approved external vendors to contract high quality external staff to augment internal staff as required.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new contractors.
  • Review candidate profiles, role assessments, and screening with hiring managers.
  • Candidate onboarding and finance setups.
  • Matching work assignments to staff skills or developmental opportunities. Balancing work demand and resource supply to ensure maximum utilisation of people.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with the teams, leaders, and the wider stakeholder group in order to get things done.
  • Advocate for the people point of view at senior leadership meetings.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Recent experience as a workforce/project coordinator.
  • Experience of recruiting both permanent and contract staff.
  • Planning, organising, and controlling people resources, and providing solutions for resource conflicts.
  • Experience in working collaboratively to build and maintain trusted working relationships with senior stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels from executive to team level.
