Overview

Pantheon Talent & Consulting have partnered exclusively with a leading Dairy/Food Business based in Munster, Ireland who supply quality food solutions to a local and global client base. Due to expansion they now have an exciting opportunity to become General Manager of a significant business Unit within their organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the CEO, this role will manage a business generating annual revenue of circa €500M, and will have oversight on all aspects of the business from strategic management of the business, overseeing multi site manufacturing operations, R & D/Innovation, Commercial (Sales & Marketing), Supply Chain, Quality & Compliance, Environmental Management, Financial Management, Supplier engagement, Customer relations and partner relations.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Food Science, Business or Agriculture or similar required
  • Significant senior Operational and Commercial experience within the Food Industry (preferably within Dairy Food Manufacturing) is essential
  • Proven track record of building and delivering strategies based on market knowledge and research
  • Experience and knowledge of Food production processes( ideally Dairy) with strong Financial acumen required
  • Proven ability to manage and develop people and to create and enhance a positive work culture is required.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to ensure positive relationship management of global and local B2B clients.
  • Ability to develop and grow relations with suppliers especially within the Agri sector a key element to this role.
  • Excellent communicator and the ability to engage with key internal and external stakeholders is essential.
  • Must be ambitious and capable to deliver to targets and be part of the leadership team in shaping the future of an evolving business.

An attractive remuneration package is on offer and is negotiable DOE.
