Overview

Clonakilty Distillery is a small but growing privately owned business producing a range of premium Irish whiskeys and Minke Gin and Vodka. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our production/warehouse team.

The role of the Blending & Warehouse Operative will include the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities
  • To undertake liquid blending/dilution/casking operations as instructed
  • To complete relevant paperwork recording all liquid operations
  • To carry out all activities in accordance with SOPs and Health and Safety directives
  • To carry out precision forklift operations safely and in line with SOPs, best practice and Health & Safety guidelines
  • To work as part of the bottling team ensuring that the bottled stock is produced in line with the bottling schedule and to the highest quality standard
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
  • Physically fit to undertake heavy manual work
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Previous warehouse and forklift experience
  • Good understanding of verbal and written English
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Tenacity in resolving queries and issues, great attention to detail
  • Team worker
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Flexible and willing to take on new activities and responsibilities as required
