Overview

Java Developer role with a 12 month contract in Dublin city center. The following non-exhaustive list of key deliverables is applicable to this role.

Responsibilities
  • Programming of Java/j2EE components
  • Completing assigned tasks related to phases of development lifecycle of enterprise applications within given scope and timeframe requirements
  • Coding in adherence to the standards of the application in question
  • Maintaining, tuning and repairing applications in order to keep them performing according to technical and functional specifications
  • Performing preventive maintenance activities
  • Integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements
  • Writing and execution of unit and integration test plans
  • Incident resolution
  • Ensure production releases are compliant with client release management standards
  • Conducting development code reviews to ensure adherence to JAVA coding standards; organization of skill/knowledge transfer and mentoring of team members
Experience / Competencies
  • Responsibility for building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications
  • Java application development with expertise in the full software development lifecycle
  • Developing web services
  • Work across all stages of the software development life cycle from concept to design and testing
  • Exposure to technologies: Java (Enterprise), Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat PAM, Red Hat Single Sign-On, Angular, TypeScript, NodeJS, RESTful APIs, Git, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS / SCSS, SQL Developer, UX/UI Development, Message Broker Technologies
