Summary

From our Head Office to the shop floor and everywhere in between, our primary goal is to create and deliver a fantastic customer journey for everyone who shops at Lidl.

Are you customer obsessed, energetic, and eager to learn every day?

If yes, earn €450+ per week as a Customer Assistant on our standard 30-hour contract.

You'll work across different shift times, on varied tasks, and with different colleagues.

Typical Day as a Customer Assistant (note: retail is always changing, so no day is exactly the same)

As a Customer Assistant, you are required to sell alcohol; therefore, you must be 18 or over to work in our store.

Shift Patterns:

  • Morning shift: Starting at 5am or 6am, you'll stock the shop floor and prepare bakery products for opening time.
  • Middle shift: Starting mid-morning or early afternoon, you'll ensure the store is clean, well-presented, and products are fresh, while assisting customers and working on tills.
  • Late shift: Starting in the afternoon, you'll serve customers, restock missing items, and prepare the store for the next day.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Follow stock loss controls
  • Maintain store cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Follow freshness and rotation principles
  • Manage waste correctly
  • Assist with stock counts

Requirements:

  • A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Responsibility and reliability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, varied environment
  • Team player
  • Previous customer-facing experience is preferred but not essential
