Ireland AM Production Assistant Role: We are seeking an ambitious Production Assistant passionate about learning and growing in a live TV environment. This entry-level position offers great opportunities for development within Virgin Media TV.

Specific Duties & Tasks:

  • Greeting all TV show visitors
  • Ensuring smooth front-of-house services, arrivals, and departures
  • Providing digital social support to TV production crew
  • Conducting TV research as needed
  • Supporting pre-recorded and live TV shoots
  • Assisting backstage with musical performances and visiting talent
  • Ensuring all team members have up-to-date scripts
  • Standing in for colleagues in their absence
  • Preparing guest rooms, studios, and other areas for live TV
  • Performing general admin tasks, updating sign-in sheets, replying to emails and social queries
  • Generating, pitching, and developing show content
  • Setting up virtual guests via Skype, Zoom, Google
  • Liaising with agents and handling last-minute queries
  • Managing last-minute changes and communicating effectively
  • Ensuring COVID-19 compliance for visitors
  • Managing stylists, models, and fashion accessories arrivals

Skills & Expertise:

  • Enthusiasm and energy for meeting new people and building relationships
  • Strong IT skills; passion for live TV, social media, and digital production
  • Ability to represent the Virgin Media brand positively
  • Confidence in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Knowledge of Virgin Media TV's daytime programming – Ireland:AM
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Awareness of food hygiene and health & safety is advantageous
