The Mercantile Hotel is now open in the heart of Dublin City, and we're looking for passionate and experienced waiters to join our dynamic front of house team. What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering warm, genuine, and memorable service to every guest, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
  • Setting up and maintaining the restaurant area to the highest standards before, during, and after service.
  • Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient service.
  • Confidently describing and upselling daily specials, dishes, and promotions.
  • Maintaining a positive, energetic presence throughout service, even during busy periods.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are always upheld.
  • Being part of a supportive, guest-focused team where your ideas and input are valued.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a waiter in a busy restaurant or hotel setting.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering top-notch service.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional, with excellent communication skills.
  • A strong team player who thrives under pressure.
  • Knowledge of wine or barista skills is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
